Peter Dakskobler

Peter originates from Soča valley and is still mostly active in Slovenia No. 1 outdoor destination, Europe-wide known as one of the pioneers in MTB tourism and advocacy. He has been a recognizable leader of the pervasive cycling unit, being representative of Slovenian MTB consortium and lobbyist trying to fit the national legislative frame in favour of outdoor providers and destinations. 

He shares his outdoor passion on trails with trail running and is the finisher of many marathons. As a creator of active experiences he is also an experienced organizer of Soča Outdoor Festival and later also Julian Alps Trail Run. His latest project was Outdoor & Wellbeing center in Tolmin, combining outdoor activities with mindfulness.  

Jan Klavora

Jan has a number of experiences in development of outdoor tourism products, as well as in strategic planning of outdoor tourism. He works with destinations and businesses in all development phases, from the identification of potential outdoor tourism products, strategic planning, and the design of hiking, cycling, trail running trails, to marketing and sales.

He is responsible for the development of one of the most successful biking tourism products in Slovenia, Trans Slovenia, as well as for the development of the transnational biking product in the Balkans, Trans Dinarica, and the Bike Slovenia Green product, which is one of the best products in 2020 according to the Guardian and National Geographic. He is one of the organizers of Soča Outdoor Festival and julian Alps Trail Run festival.   

Luka Hren

Luka is a big outdoor activity lover, especially trail running and hiking. He participated in numerous trail and ultra-trail races across Europe. He also has years of experience in the area of coaching runners and running groups, because he is a kinesiologist by profession, who also works as a running coach. One of his biggest advantages is understanding specific wishes trail runners have – from his own as well as from his clients’ perspective.

He also works with Salomon Slovenia and Croatia, where he’s in charge of organizing group runs, known as Salomon Running Academy. He owns a company called KinVital, where one of his areas of expertise is working with runners. He is also one of the main organizers of Julian Alps Trail Run and a co-founder of the running league Alpe Adria Trail Cup.

Uroš Kožar

Uroš is an experienced trail runner and a kinesiologist at the Kinesiology centre KinVital, which he co-founded with his partners. He also works as a running coach, helps his clients get better at running and keeps them injury free. He is a regular author for the biggest Slovenian running magazine, one of the organizers of Julian Alps Trail Run and is a part of Alpe Adria Trail Cup organizing committee.

In Alps2sea project, he is responsible for finding the best possible trail routes for you to run on. He is also the author of numerous blogs about trail running, running equipment and trail running safety.

Boštjan Mikuž

Boštjan is in love with various outdoor sports. Starting as a mountain biker he later passed his passion to extreme alpinism and during training for alpine ascends across the World found trail running as a perfect and enjoyable training activity.

Starting organizing trail running events in 2015 he has many experiences in the trail running area. In the past, he gained business knowledge as a manager in a multinational company and later opened his own company Alpe Adria Adventurers, which is doing business in developing tourist products and infrastructure in the region.

He is the organizer of UTVV Slovenia – ultra trail event, run Geko Adventures tourist agency, co-founder of Julian Alps Trail Run and trail running league Alpe Adria Trail Cup.
